Checklist for Evaluating Websites:
Authority & Accuracy - who is the author and what are his or her qualifications or expertise to help determine the credibility and reliability of the information.
Purpose & Content - determine the purpose of the website and if the information is mostly subjective (biased or opinionated) or objective (factual).
Currency - how current is the information provided on the website? Is the information historical in nature or should it be updated regularly?
Design & Organization - well designed and organized websites are easier to navigate, search and read, adding to their overall usefulness.
