The Special Collections department of Moffett Library is responsible for the collection, preservation, and accessibility of materials considered rare, unique, archival, and of historical or cultural value. Our collections contain a wide variety of formats such as rare books, photographs, newspapers, maps, archival materials, audio and visual recordings, and artifacts. These items are available for research and instructional use in the reading room by students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Items from Special Collections are non-circulating and may not leave the department. Please review the Policies and Procedures tab before visiting the department.
