Exploring Our Collections
Moffett Library Special Collections department is responsible for the acquisition and preservation of rare books, manuscripts, photographs, archival records, and artifacts related to various collections. These items serve the research and instructional needs of our students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Items from each collection are cataloged and discoverable in the library's online catalog. Researchers may also search within the finding aid for each collection (located at the bottom of a collection's page). These aids will provide historical background and donor history for each collection, in addition to an inventory.
Items from Special Collections are non-circulating and may not leave the department. Please review the Policies and Procedures tab before visiting the department.
